The New Patient Experience

Thank you for choosing Honesdale Family and Implant Dentistry for your dental care. We are pleased to have you as our patient. You will find that excellence, quality, personalized care and comfort are our top priorities. Our facility enables us to provide services with state of the art technology.

As your trusted dental care provider, our first objective is to learn how we can help you. Your goals for good oral health are extremely important to us. Patients are requested to complete registration forms and a detailed health history. If appropriate, the dentist takes a full series of digital x-rays with safe and accurate digital technology, so radiation exposure is minimized. After gathering records, a comprehensive dental exam follows which includes screening for oral cancer, gum disease, tooth decay, fractured teeth, bite abnormalities and problems with existing dental work. This is a time for co-discovery. You will see and understand everything that we see on intraoral camera images projected on a chairside monitor. The more you know and understand, the more comfortable you will be with your treatment plan. During this evaluation the doctor explains finding and recommendations. Treatment plan options are offered that reflect your goals and financial plans. If you have any questions about insurance or financing, we will be more than happy to assist you.
