Sedation, studied Oral Sedation Dentistry by Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation and is certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support.

You'll receive outstanding dental care in a safe, relaxed enviroment where you will fell totally at ease. You'll be sedated enough to feel very relaxed.  After treatment is completd, you will have little memory of the procedures.  Years of dental treatment can be completed in just a few visits!  During a sedation appointment, we can place implants, crowns, replace missing teeth, repair broken teeth, treat gum disease and much more.

What You Will Need to Know About Sedation Dentistry

Will it hurt?  No. You won't feel any discomfort or pain.

Will I be able to communicate?  Yes, You will be very relaxed and responsive.

Will you continue to monitor me during the procedure?  Yes, we will always remain with you and monitor your vital signs and care for you during the entire appointment.  You will never be left alone. 

How long is the appointment?  You and Dr. Boldish determine how long an appointment is best for you based on your dental needs and personal preferences. Usually appointments are scheduled for anywhere from two to four hours depending on the situation.  Sedation dentistry is perfect for busy people who prefer to have as much dentisty as possible accomplished in one or two visits.  During a sedation appointment, we can give your crowns, implant, bridges, veneers, replace missing teeth, repair broken teeth, and treat gum disease and much more, all while you simply relax!

Step-by-step guide to sedation dentistry appointment

In order to determine if you are a candidate for sedation dentistry, we conduct a physical exam that consists of monitoring vital signs and reviewing a detailed health history with you.

Medication is prescribed for you and you are instructed how to take it.  A driver must bring you to the appointment and take you home, as you may be sleepy.

When you arrive, we assure your comfort and safety. In the treatment room, you'll be covered with a cozy blanket. Your vital signs will be continually monitored.  When you are completely relaxed and ready to begin treatment, your oral sedation dental experience will begin.

Once treatment is completed, your driver will take you home to relax for the rest of the day.  You will have little or no memory of you dental appointmen.

Significant dental care, which previously required many appointments, can now be performed in a single visit while you are in a calm relaxed state.
